About the Department

The Department of Commerce (International Business) started in the year of 2002-2003. The Department offers both undergraduate and post graduate programmes, accommodating a maximum of 180 students in the undergraduate and 120 students in post graduate level, catering to the demands of the present scenario. The department of Commerce (International Business) at our college is dedicated to providing high-quality education that prepares students for careers in global business, trade, finance, and international markets. The department also offers a fast-track system for final-year students, helping them to complete their final semester early and focus on placement opportunities. The department has seven doctoral faculty members .

Programme Description

In today’s interconnected world, businesses do not operate locally—they compete globally. The International Business (IB) programme prepares students to understand international markets, manage global enterprises, and become future business leaders. The programme places strong emphasis on key areas such as International Trade and Export–Import Management, Global Marketing, International Finance and Foreign Exchange Management, International Business Laws and Trade Agreements, Logistics and Supply Chain Management with Trade Documentation, and the Global Economic Environment and Risk Analysis. Through an experiential learning approach, students engage in case analyses, live projects, and industry-oriented assignments that provide hands-on exposure to real international business challenges.
