From 2011 our department is offering the Bachelor of Commerce (Information Technology) [B.Com. (IT)], a forward-looking programme which will prepare students into high-growth careers at the nexus of business and technology.

When I joined HICAS for my B.Com Information Technology degree, I never imagined that the classrooms, subjects and individuals around me would lay the foundations of the business I operate today. My College not only gave me a degree; it also made me to learn to think outside the box, I started getting answers to the question of my life and believing in ideas which were ambitious. The B.Com IT Department is a culmination of technical expertise and business acumen, which provided me with a massive head start in the real world. What set it apart was the staff and faculty. They didn't only teach, they were the ones who mentored, pushed and motivated me like true mentors. Their belief in me was instrumental in framing my entrepreneurial spirit. Now that I am an entrepreneur, everything I have learned here, I apply it not in theory, but in actual practise. HICAS provided me with more than a degree; it provided me with the confidence to do something on my own.
