The Department of Computer Technology was established in 2008. The department offers B.Sc. (Computer Technology), a three-year undergraduate programme. It is headed by Dr. K. Mythili, Professor, and supported by four faculty members, with an intake of 120 students.
The Department has well-qualified, experienced, and committed faculty members who provide quality, industry-oriented education to students. It conducts numerous hands-on training programmes, seminars, and workshops to enhance students’ technical skills.
The Computer Technology Association organises a National-Level Technical Symposium, CTECH, every year to showcase student talents. The department has an excellent placement record, with students placed in reputed organisations such as Wipro Technologies, Amazon, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, TCS, CTS, Infosys, Accenture, KGISL, and others.

B.Sc. in Computer Technology is a three-year full-time undergraduate program that offers comprehensive training in computer hardware and software. The course focuses on practical learning and self-directed study, especially in data preparation and analysis programming, enabling students to gain strong proficiency in various programming languages. Graduates are equipped to pursue diverse career opportunities in both corporate and public sectors, including roles in software development, system design, technology analysis, and other computer-related professions.
