The Department of BBA Logistics was established in the year 2020 with a clear vision of developing globally competent logistics and supply chain professionals equipped with managerial acumen, operational excellence, and ethical leadership, attracting students from various states across India and from abroad. The department is supported by a team of 12 well-qualified faculty members with rich academic and industry experience. Faculty members are professionally certified as Trainers by reputed corporate organizations such as Zoho Corporation, Infosys, and the Wadhwani Foundation as ensuring the delivery of contemporary, industry-aligned knowledge and practices. At present, the department maintains a student strength of 60. The department's state-of-the-art infrastructure, student-centric teaching methodologies, a Wi-Fi enabled green campus, modern laboratory facilities, and a comprehensive digital library, all of which contribute significantly to the holistic academic and professional development of students.

Bachelor of Business Administration with Logistics (BBA Logistics) is an undergraduate program designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. The programme follows a globally benchmarked curriculum aligned with Outcome-Based Education (OBE), developed in consultation with subject experts, industry professionals, and key stakeholders to enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and professional competencies.
Industry-oriented programmes associated with Logwiz Institute of Shipping & Logistics are seamlessly integrated into the curriculum, offering specialized training in Shipping, Logistics, Export-Import Documentation, and Supply Chain Management. This prepares students for global business environments, cross-border trade dynamics, and emerging challenges in logistics. The programme mandates the completion of NSDC certifications as part of its skill enhancement initiative. Graduates gain strong knowledge in business administration along with domain expertise in logistics, enabling them to pursue careers in shipping, aviation, warehousing, and supply chain sectors.
1. Develop Industry-Ready Logistics Professionals:
To equip students with strong foundations in business administration, shipping, logistics, and supply chain management through an OBE-aligned curriculum supported by Logwiz certifications and NSDC modules.
2. Integrate Practical Exposure with Academic Learning:
To provide hands-on industry experience through port visits, on-the-job training with companies like Amazon and Flipkart, Zoho CRM and HRM training, and real-time logistics projects.
3. Promote Career Readiness and Global Employability:
To prepare students for careers in logistics, aviation, shipping, and global trade through certifications, placement training, and international exposure such as Malaysia tours.
4. Foster Entrepreneurship and Ethical Leadership:
To nurture entrepreneurial and ethical professionals through Royal Expo initiatives, startup incubation, industry mentoring, and value-based education.
An alumni of the BBA Logistics (Batch 2023) at Hindusthan College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, I am extremely grateful for the enriching academic and professional journey I experienced under the guidance of the Department of BBA CA and Logistics. The department played a pivotal role in shaping my academic foundation and career readiness. Through a comprehensive curriculum, industry-oriented training, and hands-on learning modules, the faculty ensured we gained practical exposure alongside theoretical learning. Their continuous mentoring and support helped me develop critical industry skills. Special thanks to the department for facilitating Industry Integrated Course (Confederation of Indian Industry CII), National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) certification programs and placement training, which significantly contributed to my successful placement at Indigo Airlines during my final semester. These initiatives have built my confidence and prepared me for my current role at Inter Global Private Limited in Bangalore. I highly encourage the upcoming batches to utilize the vast opportunities offered by the department — from internships and workshops to certifications and placement drives — that pave the way for a promising career in the logistics and aviation sectors. I am proud to be a graduate of Hindusthan College and forever thankful to the BBA Logistics Department for their commitment to excellence in education and industry readiness.
