Providing students with career options in a wide variety of fields with in psychology, emphasizing specialized training in psychology through understanding themselves and other, attaining a basic knowledge of psychometric assessments and therapeutic principles.
The curriculum covers essential branches of psychology like general psychology, social psychology, abnormal psychology, and biological psychology, along with specialised areas such as clinical psychology, counselling psychology, neuropsychology, child development, forensic psychology, digital mental health, and positive psychology. Students gain practical experience through guided counselling sessions, behavioural analysis activities, field surveys, and community outreach programmes in clinical and educational settings. Elective courses focus on emerging domains like mental health interventions, psychological testing, counselling techniques, and organizational behaviour. Continuous learning is supported through hospital/NGO visits, skill-based workshops, expert talks, research projects, case presentation events, and initiatives that encourage innovation and social entrepreneurship within the mental health sector. .
