The alumni association of Hindusthan College of arts and science is privileged in having a team of alumni students who have joined hands with the institution and function in the most effective manner by contributing to the progress and growth of the institution. The network of the alumni is huge and still on the increase. The alumni of the institution have a regular meet to share their views, recollect their nostalgic movements of their college life and also discuss about their contribution to the students progress viz., their career like higher studies, employment opportunities, startups etc.
Alumni association is registered under the “Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act 1975”. The association consist of a pool of entrepreneurs, professionals from various industries and has the network of more than 5000 registered members all over the country and overseas.

Objectives of Alumni Association
♦️ To organize various activities for each department separately where alumni share their knowledge and expertise to motivate the students of the college.
♦️ To conduct various programmes by inviting speakers from different industries for the students of different departments.
♦️ To organize experts among alumni for sharing their entrepreneurial knowledge and also to conduct mock interviews and group discussions to facilitate the students to face competitive examinations.
♦️ To organize for mobilising fund to be given for the college development
♦️ To organize and arrange for motivating the students through grant of scholarships for the needy and award of prizes for meritorious students who have secured ranks department wise and college as a whole.
♦️ To support the outgoing students through Campus recruitment either in Alumni’s own company or other companies.
♦️ To provide Internship / projects work opportunities to the students by alumni not only in their own company but also in other companies.
♦️ To provide feedback as an Alumni either out of their own interest or by an official capacity like member of Board of Studies for the academic development of the college.

Minutes of the Meeting
ALUMNI MEET DETAILS
The Hindusthan College of Arts & Science Alumni Association organized an exciting Alumni Meet on 08.02.2025, serving as a preliminary event leading up to the much-anticipated Mega Alumni Meet. The event was inaugurated by our esteemed Secretary, Shri T.R.K. Sarasuwathi, whose presence and inspiring speech set a positive tone for the gathering. Our Principal, Dr. A. Ponnusamy played a major role in organising this event and make it a grant success. Our Alumni association President Mr. N. Mahendiren addressed the alumni with his valuable speech and his own memories.
Alumni from various batches, totalling around 1,100 participants, attended the meet, making it a wonderful opportunity for everyone to reconnect with old friends and relive cherished memories.
The event featured a vibrant array of cultural programs that captivated attendees, adding a joyous and nostalgic atmosphere to the occasion. These performances, showcasing the talents of both alumni and current students, fostered a deep sense of community and celebration. The success of the event was evident as everyone came together to reminisce about their college days, share stories, and rekindle old bonds.
As a special surprise, each alumnus was gifted an Alumni Card, which grants them lifetime access to benefits such as discounts or waivers at any of the Hindusthan institutions.
This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated by all, further strengthening their connection with the institution. The Alumni Meet on 08.02.2025 was a resounding success, filled with laughter, nostalgia, and a strong sense of unity. It left everyone eagerly anticipating the Mega Alumni Meet, which promises to be an even grander celebration of the enduring spirit of Hindusthan College of Arts & Science and its vibrant alumni network.
