About NCC
 

       The National Cadet Corps of HICAS was instituted under 6 TN MED COY NCC, Coimbatore in the year 2018. A total of 18 Cadets were selected among the students to fulfil the aims of NCC. Maj Dinesh Davis Officer Commanding of 6 TN MED COY NCC, Coimbatore accepted the oath and raised a Company in this institution. With overwhelming response and interest shown by the students towards NCC and limitation of the mandatory strength, a new flight was raised under 2 TN AIR SQN NCC, Coimbatore in the year 2019. 

Aim

To create interest among students towards self control, self motivation and abide with patriotism towards our country.

Objectives of NCC

♦️  To develop cadets Character and advocate for leadership quality.
♦️  To develop spirit of sportsmanship and comradeship among the cadets.
♦️  To create a pool of reserve who are to be trained and equipped at the time of need
♦️  To provide a platform to develop self and help other to develop professionally.
♦️  To develop a spirit of adventure and to involve the cadets in social and community development activity.
